Eliama Daily Value Gold is a premium Cretan extra virgin olive oil. It comes from the Koroneiki olive variety in Aghia Varvara, near Heraklion in Crete.
Based on sustainable agriculture, we focus on the qualitative methods during the olive growing process and olive harvest to produce an extra virgin olive oil with the greatest possible healthy protective substances.
Eliama Gold is also used by our consumers as a dietary supplement and health promoter because it improves well-being and reduces the risk of serious health problems, such as: neurodegenerative diseases.
Thanks to its ingredients, Eliama Gold is the first extra virgin olive oil in Crete to have participated in scientific projects and research carried out by universities and medical communities.
The study is registered at ClinicalTrials.gov with ID NCT04120675

Over the years, cognitive and psychological impairments in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) have been reported as important clinical symptoms in the course of the disease. Cognitive impairment can occur in all forms and stages of MS and manifests itself with varying symptoms and degrees of severity that vary depending on the patient
Any sensible therapeutic management with this aim could reduce the disability caused by the disease and improve the quality of life of MS patients.
Eliama Daily Value Gold was the first Cretan high phenolic EVOO to take part in improving the likely cognition and mental health benefits in MS. Participants were diagnosed with PPMS and SPMS and did not receive specific MS medications because previous treatments had failed.
The results showed that there was a statistically significant improvement in neuropsychological instruments (FAB, BVMT and SDMT) in the intervention group. These results show that EH EVOO has positive effects on executive functions, visual memory and processing speed.
We would like to express our gratitude to all scientists for selecting Eliama Gold for their research study, and especially Prof. Dr. Magda Tsolaki from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Prof. Greta Wozniak from the University of Cyprus.
We welcome all patients taking part in the pilot study.
